It is a very bad idea to use Register.com , this company basically steals from its customers by enforcing unreasonable fees and giving poor customer service. For example, most companies charge less than $12 per year for domain name registration. These economic terrorists charge $35.

If you let your domain expire by a few days, every domain name registrar is required to let you know renew it. Normally there is no additional fee for renewing it. However, these thieves charge an outrageous $25 "Reinstatement fee" for absolutely no reason other than to rip me off.

Much better (and cheaper) domain name companies include moniker.com and eNom, and even godaddy.com isnt quite as evil.
